I guess the nesting instinct isn't really supposed to kick into high gear until right before blastoff, but apparently I've started a wee bit early. I spent the weekend moving furniture, cleaning out closets (literally! with a soapy rag and a vacuum!), moving things around from room to room, doing unnecessary laundry, and generally wandering around the house, looking for projects. I even dusted the blinds in the bathroom!
So my friends, what do you tend to do when you find yourself in a pile of sticks, mud & spit? Do you clean, organize, cook,... blog?

hahahaha... welcome to the world of the mother hen!
When I was pregnant with Hunter we didn't have our own home to "nest" in. We were living in our rental home looking for a place to live. I started to panic that I wasn't going to have a home to bring my baby to so I would drive or surf the web for hours SEARCHING for a nest.
Thank goodness we found one with nice neighbors that came offering juicy strawberries that I promply smothered in chocolate and devoured. I'll bring some over. It helps!
Mmmmm! Who has a strawberry bush? They might find a stray neighbor sneaking into their yard!
I wish I could get that nesting thing going right about now, my house is a mess!
You can come over to my house if need more to do! I was just thinking I needed some kind of motivation to clean my house...maybe another baby would do the trick....LOL!
The thought of "nesting" sounds divine. Have you started decorating? Do you have a specific line you are using? I love looking at baby furniture online during the work day!
Smash, I'm still cleaning out the crap that has been residing in the baby's room so I haven't started decorating yet, but I did register for crib bedding at Babinski's on Foothill. The bedding I picked out is called Mod Dots by Skip Hop.
